Country Estate

We were asked by the client who lived at this most impressive large country estate to help try and bring a bit more ‘Wow’ to the boring beige paved areas around the estate. We first started with the replacement of the concrete 500x500 slabs in the two internal courtyards. They were replaced with a 600x600x20mm grey porcelain tile. Due to the drainage issues they all had to be laid on a pedestal system. This also helped with time as everything had to be taken up through the house!!! A couple of years later we returned to replace again the beige concrete slabs that were laid around the external spaces of the estate. This included many entertaining spaces, garden room and pool terrace. All in all we relaid almost 1000m2 of paved areas. The 500x500mm concrete slabs were replaced with some really impressive 1000x1000x20mm porcelain tiles, which each tile had to be laid by 2 men due to the weight and awkwardness to lay.
